We stopped in Wheeler for lunch and asked about lodging in the town and were given the name of your lodge. It was right next door to the restaraunt so we took a look and were pleasently surprised. We had a wonderful, relaxing night. The hospitality was exceptional. Thank you so much! We were traveling the coast, intending on staying at a large hotel/resort down the road. We have stayed more times now than I can count and we are happily checking off the rooms we have occupied. The Captain's Quarters more recently on Sept. 11 was fun and we felt like a young couple in our first apartment while there. Our favorite is the Sunset Room with it's fireplace and bay view all while sitting in a love seat, it is cozy and homey; and we won't forget the Spa. The Honeymoon suite may be just that for us someday, we loved it in July. The Glory Suite is roomy too. The best part is you two Pat and Tracy...Thanks again! See you in October. The owners, Pat and Tracy went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in the Otter room which was very comfortable with a small deck that had a view of the bay.
